I normally don't like coconut scents because it comes off as artificial or super sweet but this captures the essence of fruit in its purest form. It's completely versatile. It's a great blender and standalone scent. This is a must-have if you want to turn any scent into a tropical treat.
I bought this hoping for what I ended up getting. This scent does not have that sunscreen or coconut candy smell that tends to be everywhere during the summer. It is light and refreshing and, dare I say, subtle. It does not smell like the coconut we all think of when we thing "coconut" and instead has a soft watery coconut throw instead.
Have not tested yet but it’s a very good Coconut scent right out of the bottle.
I used this at 5% in CP goatmilk soap at temps above 100 degrees F. It behaves beautifully and I wish that I could show you how beautiful it was- it stayed fluid and cooperative the whole time. It discolors to a pale, classy tan, very nice. The fragrance is true pure coconut without any "cream", "sugar", "sweetness", vanilla, or, god forbid, suntan lotion. It's just good clean coconut.
Something I noticed was the the scent vanished shortly after making it and for a few weeks I was really concerned! But as it cured, the scent came back and is still there almost a year later. People love this one and I'll be using it again.
