This oil smells really good. According to my nose, it smells a bit more like cake than ube, (very sweet and vanilla-y), though you can still smell the ube perfectly well. I haven't tried the other ube fragrance oil yet, but I'll have to.
This is a very strong fragrance so a little goes a long way. Used this to try in a body butter and it smells very good. If you are into vanilla and coconut scents then this is the one for you.
Added this one to my collection ! It smells exactly as described. Very nice bakery scent .
I am a Filipino so believe me when I say this is spot on!! I regret that I didn't buy the other ube scent here so I will add that to cart right now to compare. But this Ube Cake is so good already!
Tested at 3% in both Cold Process soap and Melt and Pour.
No noticeable acceleration, ricing, or separation in CP soap. Discoloration after 2 weeks is medium brown/dark brown sugar shade. I used vanilla stabilizer in the MP soap.
Scent itself is very nice. The sweet and cakey notes come through the most but there's a nice interesting fragrance from the ube addition.
