Ebony Woodsmoke | Fragrance Oil

Ebony Woodsmoke smells like you are walking through these dark mystical woods at night with the earthiness scent of the ebony wood and guaiac. On your journey deeper into the woods, you notice in the distance this hidden sacred looking temple that has torches all around it that draws your attention in, along with the whiffs of Palo Santo and burning incense that tantalize your senses and takes you further in to depths of the temple. You decide to grab a torch to light your way as you continue on this magical quest, you begin to realize that all these scents start to mingle together as the aroma guides you into this dusty medieval type room with an old wooden alter draped in a tattered cloth with a big old leather bound book sitting upon it. Your curiosity overwhelms you, so you cast the torch over the book; a sudden gust of wind appears out of nowhere and the book opens as though the flame caused this mystifying action and as you look down at the pages of the book to read its scared words, your breathing becomes labored as you recite the magical words "YOU HAVE BEEN DOOPED".

I refrained from ordering this when it was initially released bc of the description, particularly the mention of incense and palo santo notes, which left me uncertain. However, upon trying it, I found it to be a beautiful and multifaceted fragrance!! The dominant notes that I detect are labdanum, leather, and wood, and it struck me as a scent that could work wonderfully in a range of bath and body products. While it can be enjoyed year-round, if I were to categorize it, I'd say it's particularly well-suited for the fall and winter seasons. If you're in search of a sophisticated, masculine fragrance, this could be the perfect choice.
