I feel this as an antiquated room with old books and stone busts of the losers of foreign wars. This kind of reminded me of a museum of natural sciences I visited as a kid.

Smells exactly like it's name... It's weird. It's atmospheric, it smells like memories -- somehow. Having spent a lot of time in museums, I can say it definitely hits that vibe, but it has a strange nostalgic quality to it that I can't really place. It's really hard to pick out any specific top note in this because it is very well blended, one note moves effortlessly into the next, so you really smell the entire scent profile at once. It's very interesting. A lot of scents can't quite achieve that. I wouldn't say that this is a scent for everyone but if your crowd is big into off-beat scents or really crave a very specific atmosphere, then they will like this. I love it. I want my house to smell like this.

PLEASE! Doop! Don't ever discontinue this one. I cannot overstate how nostalgic this fragrance is. We call it "midcentury modern" because it smells like a lovely old building that has stood the test of time. Waxed floors, wispy vintage florals, travertine, a tinge of nicotine from a bygone era. It really is just so layered and mysterious. Cold throw is so light and complex but the HT is subtle, strong, and just kind of billows throughout. It's ghostlike almost, when you can smell something you remember and can't quite place it - I think it would be lovely for fall for a "Haunted Library" type fragrance or for "southern gothic" themed applications.

This is probably the most complex fragrance I have ever experienced. I didn’t love it initially OOB, but I kept finding myself going back to sniff the blotter I had dipped because it’s so intriguing. I haven’t been in enough art museums to say if it is true-to-name, but it’s not like any other fragrance I smelled before

I was excited about using this fragrance oil for body butters and perfumes. But when I got the sample, it had more of a green, grassy, palm-like smell to it that was more predominant than the other notes. I was hoping for more of a waxy, powdery, and faintly sweet floral similar to Willow but I'll still use this and mix it with several other fragrance oils to get the scent I imagined.
