THE BEST MARSHMALLOW FRAGRANCE OIL ON THE MARKET

Ok, so I don't leave reviews, anywhere, very often. But Bouncy Marshmallows deserves it. Being a "marshmallow snob" lol, I'm extremely picky about marshmallow fragrance oils and have tried dozens. They all smell like chemical buttercream and burnt plastic, to my nose. I make b&b products, so how a marshmallow fragrance oil develops on skin is of the utmost import to me. I originally purchased this oil because I liked it oob and on skin (no chemical/plastic undertone) and I currently use it in a blend. Though it wasn't all I ever dreamed of in a marshmallow fragrance, it was close. Now, here's why I decided to come back and write this review... Today, I was blending Bouncy Marshmallows with another fragrance. On a whim, I dipped a q-tip in the BM oil and applied it to my arm and went about my business. It's been about 3 hours since I did that and the smell coming off my arm is quite literally everything I've wanted in a plain 'ol marshmallow fragrance oil. Airy, soft, sweet.. simple. Again, no chemical/plastic notes. I get ZERO playdoh or caramel/fruit notes that a couple of the reviews mentioned. Had my nose picked up on any of those notes, it would've ruined the scent for me. It boggles my mind how I overlooked such perfection during my first skin test! Probably because I was eager to blend it and didn't give it a little more time to fully "warm up" and develop alone on my skin. It is a light fragrance (as the smell of marshmallows tend to be) so I don't know how well it would perform in wax, but I would highly recommend it for b&b products. I can't stop sniffing my arm haha! Great job on this one, DOOP!

This is one of the most realistic marshmallow scents I have found and I was immediately disappointed in myself for only buying to 2oz to try. Had to go back and place an order for more immediately. I don't get any synthetic notes at all. I will say, though, that in my normal body oil blend it took on a strange smell, almost like licorice, but when I tried it in coconut oil it smelled great. Excellent in perfumes.

This is the only product from DOOP I️ received that was not filled to the top.

Pleasant slight vanilla. A bit play doh-y. Unique scent. No apparent leakage. Disappointed that I did not receive the full amount.

Creamy and milky. Similar to Doops Milk and Sugar fragrance but a little sweeter and more powdery. It's OK. I'm still on the hunt for a true marshmallow scent.
