Honestly, this didn’t smell like calamansi to me. The floral notes overpowered the citrus notes. This scent is very strong OOB and also in soy wax. In the end, this scent gave me a headache because of the heavy floral scent.

This fragrance oil is unique (just like the title says). I haven’t smelled anything quite like it from other suppliers, and believe me, I’ve been around the block (trying addict-level amounts of FO).

I used it in a body oil and…cue dramatic gasp…people actually said nice things about it. Real compliments. The kind you don’t have to fish for. My SIL, who is notoriously hard to please, even said, “that smells nice.”

I haven’t tried it in other products yet because I a very busy woman with too many hobbies, but in leave-on stuff? It is chef’s kiss.

So, what does it smell like you may ask. To me, it’s got this clean floral vibe. Not like Grandma’s soap dish floral. More like, you’ve been meditating outdoors and a gentle wind just whispered, “Hey, you got this!” Hope that helps.

Love these fragrances, wish it weren't packaged in plastic though.

Another unique scent from doop. I haven’t come across a floral quite like this before. this is a beautiful citrusy floral. it is mostly floral with a healthy helping of lime notes. I think this is probably the most summer smelling floral i’ve come across. the notes don’t list it, but I do pick up on a bit of a sea salt/ozoneish musk note. it’s subtle and in the background, but it’s there and oh so very pleasant. this is not a harsh, heady floral. it’s not as sharp as you’d think it would be with the citrus. that salty note calms it down some and really gives this one an upscale summer spa type vibe. it’s clean, refreshing and invigorating. def vibe this one a try if you need a floral in your summer line up.
