A morning at a Filipino palengke, baskets of calamansi and lime stacked high, the air sharp and green in the tropical heat. Calamansi Lime opens sharp and zesty, calamansi zest and fresh lime brightened by a twist of lemon peel. The heart turns soft and floral, sampaguita and neroli drifting over a green lime leaf. It settles clean and light, a touch of sugarcane grounded in white musk and pale blond woods, the kind of scent that feels like sunshine squeezed straight from the peel in the islands, bright and tart and endlessly fresh.
