I slept on this one too long

I feel like some of the older DOOP fragrances don't get the love and recognition they deserve. I've sat on this bottle for almost a year and didn't know what I wanted from it. Then I blended it at 80% with a "book" type fragrance from another supplier and holy heck! I agree with others that its "clean linen" but its also poplar/cedarwood stretchers, a hint of gesso and almost a little graphite pencil. Very complex, nuanced and would be a great blender when you're looking for something clean and stoic.

Crowd-pleaser

True to the H&H fragrance. A really solid year-round performer with wide appeal. A personal favorite for room/linen sprays. It’s almost a “linen” fragrance, but with a bit more to it. It’s just so wonderful!

Not very realistic

Not a bad smell but not what I would associate with canvas, primed or not. This is just a fruity musk, with a slight anise note.

Fresh, Linen & Sweet?

I bought this for a room spray and is fresh, airy yet perfume-like w/linen and a tad sweetness at the bottom. I'm not in love with it as a room spray but might find another use for it. Still a 5 star scent though!

Calming relaxing freshness

Smells just like turning over fresh warm earth in the garden! Like a calming day planting, or memory helping Grandma and Grandpa!
