Neon lights buzzing over an arcade, hairspray and bubblegum in the air, a synth track thumping somewhere in the back. Electric Eighties opens loud and fizzy, aldehydic citrus sparking against cherry cola and a pop of bubblegum. The heart turns bold and bright, big silk flowers and a glass of white zinfandel laced with sticky banana candy. It settles cool and electric, patent leather and fresh laundered denim humming over a warm electronics accord and radiant ambrocenide, the kind of scent that feels like a night that never wants to end, vivid and synthetic and gloriously over the top.
