Jasmine Tea

I am not really going to describe the scent (it really does smell like Jasmine Green tea) but tell you my client experience. I design and make favor bags for small “high tea” parties (max 30 people) for bridal and baby showers. Clients love to develop their own signature scent for the candle favors. In the past I would usually have to create a blend to give the clients what they want (which requires a lot of testing and retesting as anyone who makes candles knows). But once I started offering Jasmine Tea an option, every single one of my clients chooses this scent AS IS. I use Makesy satin soy wax at 9% FO. The CT and HT are both VERY strong at this percentage, but my clients enjoy this candle strong and no one seems to find it overwhelming (I give them a couple of strength options to test for themselves at home). I use Makesy posh glass vessel with their spiral wick and have consistent results. Not affiliated with Makesy in any way, and I know they are pricy but I am a small batch-candle maker who can charge a lot for the candles as part of my favor bag service, so it works for me. Clients and their guests are blown away by this scent - they all just LOVE IT and new clients want it even though they know it is OOB and not really “unique” to their event. Kind of specific story, but I highly recommend this FO!!!

Written review:
This is a great spin on a jasmine forward fragrance, it’s jasmine with a twist. the jasmine is very calming and soothing. I would categorize this one as an upscale spa type of scent. usually I associate florals with spring, but this is one of those scents that I think could work year round just cause I feel like spa scents have the aromatherapy element to them that people want to enjoy all year. this scent is mostly the white floral of jasmine, although it’s not a harsh, screechy, heady white floral like jasmine can be at times. it’s tampered down with an herbal tea, but the tea note is subtle. this is much more of a floral scent than a tea scent. the tea element just elevates the jasmine from being too plain or simple. I would recommend this one if you are looking for a spa or floral scent to add to you line.
