FRAGRANCE DESCRIPTION:

Patisserie Air is a delicate fragrance that opens with the nutty bitterness of bitter almond essence, softened by the earthy aroma of angelica roots. At its heart is the warm, buttery scent of a madeleine accord, complemented by the sweet, vegetal note of carrot heart and the musky smoothness of absolu ambrette. The base is grounded by the creamy warmth of New Caledonia sandalwood and a sweet infusion of Madagascar vanilla, evoking the comforting aroma of freshly baked pastries in a cozy bakery.

really pretty

Patisserie Air (Maison Margiela’s Afternoon Delight) - this one I have tested in wax already. ht is medium light in wax melts and it is a stunner! it’s one of those scents where oob it didn’t really speak to me , but the more I smell it in wax the more in love I am with it. it smells like you dropped a rolling pin on a fancy light wood cutting board and all the musky root residue, vanilla beans and powdered sugar that was on it has been thrown into the air. I don’t pick up any almond. it is one of those scents that is subtle, but present. a little musky, elevated and pretty.

I really wanted to love this

I haven’t smelled the original, but “air” is definitely a descriptor I would use. It’s so light. Even at 12% in wax…it doesn’t give much. Maybe a perfume or room spray. It’s like Madeline’s but with a plasticky finish.
