A gray morning on the northern coast, cold mist rolling off the water and dark evergreens standing along the shore. Salish Sea opens cool and briny, glacial sea salt and coastal fog drifting through clean marine air. The heart turns soft and airy, pale saltwater blossoms and dewy sea petals blooming faint against the tide. It settles low and salty, weathered ambergris folding into wind-worn cedar and a soft mineral musk, the kind of scent that feels like the quiet edge of a cold northern sea, bracing and bare and beautifully still.
