FRAGRANCE DESCRIPTION:

Spiced Tea Leaves is like sipping a cozy brew in the Hogwarts library. It opens with the bold spice of black pepper and earthy tea leaves, balanced by the sweetness of black currant bud. The heart blooms with rich burgundy dahlia, creamy orris butter, and the warmth of ambrox. Finally, the base settles into earthy Indonesian patchouli, sweet Madagascar vanilla, and soft Chantilly musks. A warm, comforting fragrance, perfect for curling up with a magical book by the fire.

Amazing scent

A very strong, bitter tea scent

To my nose, this is a very bitter tea fragrance. I don't pick up much of the sweet notes listed in the description. I would not categorize this as a sweet and/or creamy tea scent. It smells like tea leaves have been left to steep in a cup of warm water for a little too long, and the bitterness of the tea leaves became very prominent. It is a strong FO, so a little goes a long way (at least, from my experience of using it to make a perfume spray.) I had to mellow out the bitterness with some lactonic FOs. It is a very realistic tea scent - calming and soothing, too. I personally think it is unisex but I can understand why some people might think it leans masculine. This, IMHO, is not a "gourmand" or "bakery" tea scent, it is a spa-like/relaxing tea scent.

CP performance

Behaved great in CP. I think it's going to discolor to a light tan. I bought 3 of the Hogwarts dupes (hufflepuff was sold out). Of the 3 this one is the most unique. It's masculine leaning unisex to my nose. And it really seems to be holding up (maybe even getting more complex) in the soap.
