FRAGRANCE DESCRIPTION:

Imagine a luxurious vanilla custard infused with the zest of kumquat and lime. The custard’s top layer is tangy and refreshing, with the bright citrus notes awakening your senses. As you delve deeper, you encounter the subtle floral essence of violet and lily-of-the-valley, adding a delicate sweetness to the creamy texture. The base of the custard is rich and comforting, with the smooth warmth of vanilla and malt, a touch of soft white musk and ambrette, and the earthy, woody undertones of sandalwood and cedar, creating a decadent and sophisticated dessert experience.

Same vibe as SDJ 59 but not as sweet. Have not decided which I like best but I love this one.

Pretty and floral vanilla.

This is vanillin (vanilla molecule responsible for the smell of what we perceive as vanilla) wrapped in what appears to be a lily note and other soft florals with a dry down of woodiness (I detect Iso E Super)!

If you want a dainty, feminine, elegant vanilla with a floral twist… This is for you.

A lovely gourmand vanilla

I don't know what the original smells like, but I do have an idea of Xerjoff's style of gourmand fragrances and I'm not a major fan of them because they can come off as really sweet and citrusy to my nose. This one does not. It's a lovely sweet, creamy, and slightly syrupy gourmand vanilla. Smells delicious, but I would have liked it stronger.

*Purchased and received a bottle from a recent batch. Smells off, a little too bitter and sour. Anyone else with this issue? Contacted CS but they have yet to reply.
